The Art of Fishing, St Merryn.

Our small, welcoming store ("The Art of Fishing") is located in the very centre of the North Cornish village of St Merryn. Within just a few miles of Padstow and 20 minutes north of Newquay, we are ideally situated to serve both local and visiting saltwater anglers along this popular stretch of British coastline.

This is a prime fishing area with numerous fish catching options! Take your pick from the excellent shore fishing along the storm beaches and sheltered coves of the "7 Bays", to the picturesque, estuarine environment of the River Camel or the rugged terrain and deeper water of Trevose Head, Rame Head and Stepper Point. A full list of the potentially catchable species would be impossible to compile with there being so many possibilities.

Owners Ben Field (feels a bit weird writing in the third-person!) and Jo Macphail ("Finance Officer"/Tea Maker) can offer tons of advice and a smiley face to all customers.
