Length 6'9"
Stated Casting Weight 0.2-7g.
Casting weight accuracy A tricky one to judge. The end of the tip is super fine which is where I think they got the 0.2g from. However, like all rods, a number this low is irrelevant - you'll never fish that light. With all your normal 0.5g+ jighead sizes it'll be fine and perfect. At the higher end it feels like it will handle far more than 7g in all honesty. Only casting will tell, but I'd say with a metal casting jig you could be chucking 12g. Probably. Jighead wise I wouldn't put any more than about 5g on it though. It'll feel weird considering it's such a light rod to hold.
How light does it feel in the hand? 9/10. One of the lightest rods available.
Weight 65g
Action Extra Fast. Feels a stiff rod in the hand because of the power it has lower down combined with the stiff, very fast tip.
Tip Type Short Solid.
Tip Stiffness. Soft (1) to Stiff (10). 6/10. Extra fine at the very end but very quickly stiffens up.
Solid Tip Length 32cm
Solid Tip Taper Speed 10/10. Extremely fast. Quite a stiff carbon tip, it's an interesting one because it's so fine at the tip, but quickly widens and stiffens up over its short length. Perfect for when you might need to fish light but also require stiffness to set a hook. Like no other rods currently in stock in this respect.
Grip Length Total 27cm
Balance (from centre of reel seat) 22.5cm
Handle length to centre of reel seat from butt end. Not measured yet.
How slim is the blank? 8/10. Super thin diameter rod.
Guide Type Fuji Torzite - single leg. Fancy!
Number of guides 8
Line Rating Officially 0.9 - 3.0lb fluoro. I reckon braid wise it will be happy with 0.3-0.6PE, or even above.
Recovery Speed 9/10. A super light rod that really doesn't wobble at all. Super high quality blank.
How balanced does it feel in the hand? 8/10.
How stiff does it feel? Soft (1) to Stiff (10). 8/10. One stiff little cookie. Completely surprising considering its lightness. Perfect for setting hooks in to boney Perch or Zander.
