This one is a beast of a rod! Fast actioned and powerful. Use it as it's meant to be used - on the open coast, hurling big hardbaits in to the wind and surf! A perfect rod for the hairy weather days down here in Cornwall, casting lures from around 15g right up as far as you dare go. You genuinely wouldn't believe that it's a 10 foot rod when you hold it, but have a few casts with it and you'll soon see what a monster it is! A friendly kind of monster!

It's length will also come in useful if you generally just crave an extra few yards on the cast, or like to use big surface poppers at distance (for example). This rod has the grunt to do it as well as the power to land your next double! ;-) 

NB: For anybody who's unsure, these rods are completely different to the previous AFAW 'Lure & Bait'' rods. They're not an upgrade, but a completely new range of top class, dedicated UK plugging rods.
