I first tried one of these lures about 12 months ago when I was looking for something different in a shallow diving lure. What I found wasn't quite what I was expecting because it's no standard, shallow diving minnow! The action on them is actually so intense that if you wind them too quick then they end up folding over and not working at all. Far from being a negative though, it means that in calm conditions you have a lure that can be worked extremely slowly! While your standard lures would fail to move much until they reach a certain retrieve speed, these will start rolling almost immediately! Perfect! Having a lure that will do this can be something of a novelty in today's market, but it's one of those things that we should all be considering (i.e. winding more slowly!) - bigger fish don't like charging around chasing their prey! I'm really keen to try these small versions in a local estuary!

They look lovely in the flesh and despite being small, they are equipped with hooks that will happily tame our bass.
