5' FAT FLAT is souped up version of the original FAT FLAT, with improved vibration and castability. The increased size makes for more appeal and also longer casts to target deeper bass. The extra size causes more friction to make the lure move sideways, and attract bass over a wide area. Of course the extra weight makes the lure cast further, but it also makes it easier to cast under overhangs and skip the lure further under structure.
