My own rod of choice for soft baits! Designed originally for Tenya Fishing in Japan, it doubles as an incredibly sensitive shore rod for soft baits - either lightly bottom bounced or fished on the drop. It's solid tip makes it a tool capable of fishing extremely light jigheads (down to around 1g), while still having a superb amount of power in the lower section. Every time I hook a fish on this rod, I smile. It's as happy fishing lightly swung paddle tails as it is whacking out 14g (+ bait) in to a tidal current. Extremely versatile, super sensitive! Words won't tell you how much I love this rod. I don't know of ANYTHING like it!
