I love these rods for various reasons. You may know that I do have a fondness for light line fishing - and these rods are made for it! Light enough in action to excel in casting light lures, they also have the power to subdue large fish. This 7'10'' version is worth choosing over the shorter model when slightly more distance is a requirement, or when fishing deeper water.

As their name suggests, they're perfect for bouncing light soft baits or slowly retrieving tiny hard baits. To me they're a soft bait rod. I've had a lot of success with slowly retrieved paddle and grub tail baits recently (especially the Ecogear Grass Minnow's and Paramax), and these rods are designed for exactly that style of fishing. With lighter baits, this is how I find myself fishing at least 80% of the time, so owning a rod like this just makes sense... The best quality components (including Fuji K Guides) combined with short butt (part cork for the best sensitivity) and a dull white/grey blank - tis a beauty!!!!!!!!!! Proper Nories quality.
