This was the first ultra light rod that caught my eye when looking for a solid tipped LRF style rod early in 2010. These rods are light, extra fast actioned and have a solid tip for ultimate bite detection and feel. For the price, these are insanely good value. Super slim, quality carbon blanks, I really, really like them.  If you're keen to hone your softbait skills over the winter then there is no better way to do it then by taking the step down to the ultra light! As soon as you start chucking 7g jigheads and big baits around again in April or May, it'll feel like you're casting a house brick! Getting in to this type of fishing is the best bass fishing practise you'll ever get!
