Power Braid 300yd

We've only recently got our hands on this stuff. Brand new out, you're likely to see a lot more of it soon!

We were looking for something that we could price at less than £30 and in 300m spools to make it more cost effective, and this one from Ultima fits the bill very nicely indeed! If you're either a shore angler or keen hard lure angler looking for a reliable and easy to use braided mainline, this is it!

For the lure angler, the last thing you want when you're just getting in to using braid is something that is actually too advanced or expensive for what you're actually aiming to do. You don't need it! What you do want though is to choose a braid that casts well, knots well, and doesn't cause you endless problems in the wind. I've heard way too many times that people have given up using braid following a bad initial experience - which is actually a bit of a shame because once you get used to it, you WILL catch more fish. If you're browing this page because you've used braid before then you'll already know this.

Anyway, I digress... The power Braid has already impressed me. We're stocking it as low as 6lb breaking strain to provide a suitable and easy to use mainline for people looking at getting in to the lighter side of things (LRF).

Being of the more traditional 4 strand make-up, it has improved abrasion resistance for chucking lures in to the rough stuff - HRF stylee!
