We first bought Tict rods to the UK in around 2011. I've always absolutely loved them. The brand new b4 range is a superbly built range of rods that mirrors or betters everything I've seen from Tict "b4" (get it?!).

Like the Inbite's that we've sold in the past, the b4's are a rod that combines superb lightness with an incredible amount of power (considering the lightness). That's not to say they're overly powerful rods though. Far from it, they're ideal all-round LRF or perch rods, capable of fishing the lightest weights. They do however have a steeliness about them that gives you confidence should you hook something larger, or need to fish something bigger, they will do it.

Rated to 14g, this model is one that I would perhaps fish jigheads to 5 or 6g, with soft plastics up to around 3" or a touch more. With metal casting jigs it should chuck 12 (because of the fact they're more streamlined).

At 8 feet long it's perfect for rockier headlands when out on the coast, harbours where you're fishing from well above the water, or around rivers where you can't get easy access to the water and need more tip length.

Absolutely superb!
