Tailwalk Outback Travel
Since 2017, Tailwalk have been growing their range of Outback travel rods. Multi-piece designs provide us with a range of incredibly light and beautiful bass rods, ideally suited to slipping in a suitcase or in the boot of the car. Far from the travel rods of old, the Outbacks are very fast in action, with those extra joints towards the butt providing some real power. More power than you'd imagine looking at the specs actually - they are printed low. The newest arrival is the 8'6", 30 grammer, and it's this model that I've concentrated on here and would recommend as your all-round travel style bass rod. The 35g option comes in very useful however if you need more power for subduing larger fish, especially if you're travelling overseas a bit.
Ben's an idiot so hasn't added a full category run-down yet. We're sure he'll get on it shortly.
